The air is calm. Yet a strange and eerie noise continues to resonate through the surrounding silence. It is much more than the sound of my own heart or breath. It seems too continuous and distorted to be anything but static noise you would generally see on an untuned TV. It does not drown out other sounds that fill the air. The birds continue to sing, the leaves continue to rustle and fall in the dryness and my heart continues to beat. There is nothing else but this strange silence. The still silence continues reverberate through my mind and heart, maybe those of others too, or has everyone tuned their faculties else where?

here goes the definition
White noise is a type of noise that is produced by combining sounds of all different frequencies together. If you took all of the imaginable tones that a human can hear and combined them together, you would have white noise.
