1) I believe I am a dreamer, yet most people believe I am immensely practical.

2) I cant write. I mean I cant hold a pen/pencil in my hands and do anything. If I do manage to, I most probably wont be able to read my own handwriting later. BUT, I like fixing things, no matter how small they are, so I do have control over the muscles in my fingers.

3) I don’t dream. I just don’t. Or maybe I just NEVER remember them, unless they are something weird.

4) I have premonitions. But I only recall them while the incident is occurring. There is nothing I can do to stop it. I have no idea what triggers them.

5) I love photography. Yet I have ditched the camera and barely take pictures anymore. I want to have more time to pursue this hobby.

6) I love travelling. Im mad about it! If you are good company, I don’t mind taking a trip around the other side of the world with you.

7) I believe I stick to myself, yet im perceived as a social something. WHY THE HELL????

8) I am a food freak! And looks are surely deceiving :P

9) I have very few friends, but the ones I have, id trust them with a gun and a blindfold.

10) I USED to be a sweet freak. No longer!

11) I cant stand diet drinks….they make my face hurt :S

12) I used to be able to write fiction. For some reason I just cant do that anymore.

13) Oh and I just cant stand cheese, except on pizza of course.

14) Although I like to think that I don’t care about what people think about me, I have realized I really do care about what people are thinking about me and as much as I would like to deny it, I am very conscious of my surroundings in whatever situation I am. (I copied this one because I agree with it, and it was well written).

15) I think I have learnt to be tactful, maybe diplomatic…maybe enough to make people hate at times.

16) I am pathetic at maintaining contact with people. I often don’t call my friends for 6 months/ a year maybe. Just yesterday I met a friend after 4 years.

17) My skin remains cold, mostly. No matter what the weather. Don’t know why, but its not as if I feel cold or something.

18) I have a very strong faith in the Almighty. Infallible. I pray it stays that way.

19) Deep down inside, I think I will always remain a scientist. Not because I want to know what chemicals make what, but because I want to know things. Discover things. It only makes my faith stronger.

20) If I were free from responsibilities, id be happy living a life where I could just gather knowledge and information. That’s all that matters to me.

21) My back hurts if I sleep more than 9 hours a day, it gets back to normal in 30 mins of being up and about. And I badly need 8 hours of sleep.  AND afternoon siestas can be murderous.

22) I hate getting my picture taken! And I hate attending weddings :P

23) I strongly believe that knowledge and information is useless unless someone takes advantage of it. So if there is something you want to know, ask me. If I know about it, I have no issues sharing.

24) I have a crazy taste in music. Minus Indian cheap music, my tastes spread across many genres.

25) I love lightning and thunderstorms. I can spend hours in one, just looking at lightning.

1.Pick out a scar you have, and explain how you got it? The back of my left hand, just above the knuckle of the index finger is a cut mark, which I managed to get while trying to cut an apple (or was it a banana) from a weird angle.

2. What does your phone look like? Scratched, but working….almost like a charm…

3.What is on the walls of your bedroom? I prefer my walls clean…

4. What is your current desktop picture? Black screen with XPS on it…came with the lappie and I love it…possible the one desktop that has survived the longest……but generally desktops by Veer are my fav too.

5. Do you believe in gay marriage? If those guys/girls are, i don’t mind, just don’t keep talking about the differences you have from a straight marriage…or request a preferential treatment…

6. What do you want more than anything right now? Chai!

7. What time were you born? I dont quite remember, but I guess I was an afternoon/evening kid!

1. Music – Im crazy about it. Just don’t know how crazy though. I often find a song for any situation :P. My choices in music are a bit off track. I like songs for their music and/or their content. This criteria is independent of the artist/band/performer/country. Now i know many of you will jump at my “country” statement, because I do not listen to indian music. For those who know my musical tastes well, will actually know why most of Indian music is simply…crap. The old ones were somewhat good though.

2. Decisions – I don’t really know. I guess we all make our fair share of misjudgements, and thats what affects decisions. There are times we lament over something we did/did not do, but there really is no use complaining about something you cant change anymore. You made the decision, no walk it. take ownership and move on.

3. Sleep – I sleep……weird. Sometimes I sleep according to a clock, and sometimes I am totally oblivious to anything and everything. I cannot take naps at ALL!

4. Family -  Highly important.

5. Religion
- I prefer not engaging in discussions about religion. It’s my matter with my Creator. He knows how I feel and thats where the buck stops. Some times, whats hidden is more powerful than what seems to be.

6. Culture
- Im not a celebratory person. I take things as they come and as far as culture is concerned, as long as its civil, its ok.

7. Turn-ons
- sab bata doon kiya???? :P

8. Sucks -  hmm…..I have more things to be thankful for than to be depressed about.

9. Words -  I can’t write anymore. I have this love/hate relationship with words. But i just cant write. Dont have focus, maybe.

At 5 years
Someone who just drove a huge vehicle…bright red firetrucks, monster bulldozers and aircraft were a fav. Would you believe I thought the huge ships moved fast!

At 10 years
Definitely a scientist. Back then inventing was the key word and men in white coats were the only eligible ones of doing that.

At 14 years
Scientists had widened out to engineers. Building massive machines and solving the global warming issue was key concern. Having a lamborghini diablo was one dream, along with Mcgyver type skills.

At 16 years
Falling in love with particle physics. I wanted to be at CERN.

At 18 years
Dramatic shift. I move to take up accountancy and learn the many facets of a career in finance.

At 22 years
Started working at ad agency and no world was more beautiful.

At 24 years
Corporate world dreams arise, marketing as a subject takes a practical phase in life and so does finance, considering I worked for a financial firm. Yes, by this time I wanted to be one of those men in suits sitting in a boardroom building empires. The sort that no one dared to challenge not because of their ability to fire, but because of their skill and knowledge.

Today
At 27, MashaAllah, I’m on the way. I’ve left the financial firm now. On my own route to making nukes (you will all soon find out what that means).  I want to be so much more. There is so much more I want to do.

I don’t know what I want to be right now. Being somewhere/something is having a destination. I see it all as a path.

Lets see where I see you next.

• I’m punctual. Straight shot, no 2 ways about it. I do not believe in being fashionably late or blaming the traffic jams or anything for that matter. AND I also hate waiting for others, if they decide to be late. One major reason why I hate attending shaadis of any sort.

• I know nothing about poetry, despite the fact that people thing and believe otherwise. I cannot interpret poetry (ok, not english poetry), except when its a song that I have heard a million times over and really love the song.

• I continuously ask people to stop working so hard and get their butts out of office and spend time at home with family and friends. I barely do the same.

• I am extremely optimistic, yet have a practical approach towards life. At times these two seem extremely contradictory, but have learnt to co-exist within my soul for some reason.

• I have a handwriting issue. A SERIOUS one for that matter. I often cannot read my own notes about 2 days after i have written tem, unless I am reminded of the topic they are about. Do not tell me to try this technique or that. I’ve heard those for over 20 something years now and seriously, It does not work.

• I have a bad memory at times, or maybe selective for that matter. I may even forget the face of the shopkeeper that took my cash 20 mins ago, or maybe even my waiter i a restaurant. I have issues remembering movie names and the names of the actors, except a rare few of my favourites.
